Managed WordPress hosting,
with room for more

For WordPress websites with busy shops, membership features or custom integrations, we provide a managed server environment shaped around the way your website works.

Let’s talk WordPress hosting

When your WordPress website needs a tailored setup

Our shared hosting is a practical choice for many WordPress websites. A custom environment becomes useful when your site needs additional resources, particular server software or closer control over its configuration.

That might mean a WooCommerce shop running regular product imports, a membership website serving personalised content, or a custom integration generating documents and synchronising business data.

We’ll look at what your website actually needs and recommend an appropriate setup.

WordPress hosting matched to your website

Choose an environment around your website’s activity and functionality. We’ll help assess the resources needed for its plugins, database and background tasks.

Annual prices provide 12 months for the price of 11. Setup, migration, application maintenance and any separate managed database are scoped in your quote.

Built around the work your website does

From online shops to membership areas and custom features, we configure and maintain your hosting around what your website needs to do.

WooCommerce requirements

We assess the hosting needs of your catalogue, checkout, imports and integrations when recommending an environment.

Membership and account areas

Personalised pages have different demands from public content. Your configuration can account for how members use the website.

Custom server software

PDF generation, image processing and other specialist requirements can be assessed as part of your setup.

Caching with context

Caching can be configured around eligible pages, with appropriate exclusions for checkout, account areas and personalised content.

Daily independent backups

Agreed website files and database data are backed up daily to a different provider, with 30-day retention.

Managed server upkeep

We handle server security patches, package updates, configuration changes and monitoring.

Server care and WordPress care, clearly defined

Your hosting service includes care of the server environment. WordPress itself also needs attention: core updates, plugin changes and theme updates can affect how your website behaves.

We can agree a separate maintenance arrangement covering updates and relevant checks. Custom development, existing faults and third-party licence costs are scoped clearly, so you know what your ongoing service covers.

Moving WordPress with the details in mind

Domain email and application email are discussed separately so their requirements are accounted for during the move.

1. Review the website

We check the current hosting, WordPress setup, plugins, data and integrations to understand what needs to move.

2. Prepare the new environment

We configure the server and agree checks for important journeys, such as enquiries, account access and checkout.

3. Coordinate the changeover

We plan the final transfer around new orders, form submissions and content changes, with any maintenance period agreed in advance.

Managed WordPress hosting questions

These are some of the common questions we’ve been asked over the years. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please get in touch. We’re here to help.

Do all WordPress websites need custom hosting?

No. Many business websites run well on our shared hosting. We recommend a custom environment where the workload or technical requirements justify it.

Will moving hosting fix a slow website?

Hosting can help, but performance also depends on the theme, plugins, database, images and external services. We’ll discuss whether your site needs hosting changes, development work or both.

Are plugin and theme updates included?

The hosting prices cover server management. WordPress core, plugin and theme maintenance can be included in a separate agreed arrangement.

Can you host WooCommerce?

Yes, subject to reviewing the shop’s requirements. The recommendation will account for its activity, catalogue, integrations and recovery needs.

Will I still use the WordPress dashboard?

Yes. You continue managing content through WordPress. The server is managed by us without cPanel; SSH access can be discussed if required.

What support is included?

Server management and monitoring are included. Support hours, response arrangements and application maintenance are agreed before the service starts.

As part of the server management we'll handle security or other patches to the server's OS and installed packaged, configuration changes, and any other server-level maintenance provided. Our monitoring will monitor key aspects of the server including uptime, resource usage, and other key metrics alerting us to any issues or things we need to investigate.
