Hosting includes management of the server environment. Laravel upgrades, dependency updates, deployments and application development can be covered through an agreed maintenance arrangement.

Can you host an application built by another developer?
Yes, subject to an initial review. We need to understand its dependencies, condition and deployment requirements before agreeing the hosting and support scope.
Is a separate managed database required?
Not for every application. We’ll recommend a suitable database arrangement and make any separate service cost clear in your quote.
Will I have SSH or cPanel access?
This is a managed environment without cPanel. SSH access can be discussed if you or your developer needs it.
What do the backups cover?
Daily backups cover the agreed application data and are stored with an independent provider for 30 days. They are application backups rather than complete server images.
What support is included?
Server management and monitoring are included. Support hours, response arrangements and application maintenance are agreed before the service starts.
As part of the server management we'll handle security or other patches to the server's OS and installed packaged, configuration changes, and any other server-level maintenance provided. Our monitoring will monitor key aspects of the server including uptime, resource usage, and other key metrics alerting us to any issues or things we need to investigate.
