What does your maintenance service include?
Our maintenance plans include a range of benefits. Depending on which you choose, you can get monthly time for content updates or development, bug fixes, proactive monitoring and resolution, regular updates, Statamic Pro licence, and more.
How often will my site be updated?
Depending on the plan you choose, and if your website requires regular patch updates, patches will be completed quarterly or monthly, with major updates being completed annually. Our higher plans that include proactive-monitoring, will also include security patches for any security advisories raised for dependencies, these may be completed outside the normal patch cycle depending on the impact and seriousness of the advisory.
What happens if my site goes down?
Depending on the level of plan you have, we may get alerted to the outage, and may be able to get everything back up before you or your users even notice. However, in some instances the outage may require us to complete further investigation or it may be out of our control with a broader outage. We'll keep in communication with you making you aware of progress and any updates.
If you do not host your website with us, then the investigation or other checks will be the responsibility of you and your hosting provider.
Do you monitor for security vulnerabilities?
We run automated static security analysis on any code that we write, and depending on the tier of your maintenance plan we may also have automated monitoring of security advisories with any dependencies used, and will aim to patch these outside of the usual update cycle, depending on the severity and impact.
Can I request content changes as part of maintenance?
Yes, content changes are included in the allocated monthly allowance.
