Combining managed UK website hosting and maintenance gives one team visibility of the platform and the website running on it, making backups, monitoring, updates, and troubleshooting easier to coordinate. We can also maintain suitable websites hosted elsewhere, although your hosting provider remains responsible for its infrastructure and any platform-level outages.
Plan features vary by tier and by the technology your website uses. We will agree what is covered before work begins, so you know which updates, monitoring, support, and development time are included.

What is the difference between website hosting and maintenance?
Hosting provides the infrastructure that keeps your website available online, including server resources, SSL, backups, and related platform services. Maintenance looks after the website itself through software updates, monitoring, security work, fixes, content support, and development, depending on the plan you choose.
Do I need to host my website with you?
Not always. We can maintain suitable websites hosted elsewhere after reviewing their technology and hosting setup. When a site is hosted with another provider, that provider remains responsible for the server infrastructure, platform backups, and hosting outages; our investigation is limited to the website and the access available to us.
What does your maintenance service include?
Our maintenance plans include a range of benefits. Depending on which you choose, you can get monthly time for content updates or development, bug fixes, proactive monitoring and resolution, regular updates, Statamic Pro licence, and more.
How often will my site be updated?
Depending on the plan you choose, and if your website requires regular patch updates, patches will be completed quarterly or monthly, with major updates being completed annually. Our higher plans that include proactive-monitoring, will also include security patches for any security advisories raised for dependencies, these may be completed outside the normal patch cycle depending on the impact and seriousness of the advisory.
What happens if my site goes down?
Depending on the level of plan you have, we may get alerted to the outage, and may be able to get everything back up before you or your users even notice. However, in some instances the outage may require us to complete further investigation or it may be out of our control with a broader outage. We'll keep in communication with you making you aware of progress and any updates.
If you do not host your website with us, then the investigation or other checks will be the responsibility of you and your hosting provider.
Do you monitor for security vulnerabilities?
We run automated static security analysis on any code that we write, and depending on the tier of your maintenance plan we may also have automated monitoring of security advisories with any dependencies used, and will aim to patch these outside of the usual update cycle, depending on the severity and impact.
Can I request content changes as part of maintenance?
Yes, content changes are included in the allocated monthly allowance.
