Project Brief

Tax Steps, were rebranding their business with a new identity, brand feel, and a modern, fresh look. The brand and logo had already been designed through a mutual designer, and now he was looking for a clean, modern, and professional website to bring his fresh brand online.

We needed to convey professionalism and trustworthiness in the design as that is what clients would expect from a tax advisor.

The Workflow

Crafting a Scalable Brand

We began in Figma, translating the new brand into a modern, professional interface. Rather than designing static pages, we focused on a modular wireframing approach. By building a library of interchangeable sections, we created a flexible design system that allows for a wide variety of layouts while maintaining a cohesive, high-end aesthetic.

Static Speed with Laravel Power

Since the project didn't require a backend control panel, we opted for a static site architecture. This gave us the "best of both worlds", the efficiency of a Laravel-based templating system during development, paired with a build pipeline that outputs a lightweight, static site. The result is near-instant load times and an SEO-friendly foundation.

A Seamless Digital Transition

A great site deserves a great home, so we deployed the project on our green-powered hosting. To ensure a zero-friction handoff, we also managed the migration of Tax Step's existing email data. Using our in-house migration tool, we successfully transferred his entire email history without any downtime or data loss.
